Statement of Faith
What we believe at Next Level Ministries
We believe in the 100% Accuracy of the Bible; from Genesis to the Psalms; from the prophetic books to the Gospels; from the epistles of Paul to the last “Amen” in the book of Revelation. Every bit of it is the inspired word of God. It is infallible with no contradictions. It is God’s love letter to His people and reveals the incredible nature of God; which includes his unbounding love for mankind. The Bible also reveals creation and the ancient past. It gives us prophetic insight into the future. The Bible was written by faithful men of God, who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
2 Tim. 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Peter 1:20, 21
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Psalm 19:7
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
N.L.M. believes that the King James Bible is the most accurate interpretation of the original manuscripts, which include, books, epistles, proverbs, poetry, lamentations and songs. The king James Bible is used at N.L.M. as the foundational text to all of our teaching and preaching. We believe that all other interpretations are either inferior in impact, or (as many other translations) have been compromised, by clever manipulation by the kingdom of darkness. Although we may use at times, other “amplified” versions, it is only to exemplify a particular verse (s) to enhance clarity and depth of understanding. We believe the King James is the “gold standard”, especially in the English language translation, (Psalm 12:6- The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times).
N.L.M. believes in the triune nature of God (Trinity). Jehovah God is “ONE” but consists of three separate components or persons. God the Father, God the Son (Living Word), and God the Holy Spirit. They are distinct, but equal in power, authority, and divinity. They are all one in essence, and work and exist in a perfect union. To the finite mind of man, the concept of the triune God is difficult to fathom. To the most ardent Christian, it is somewhat of a mystery, but it is what the Bible teaches us, thus making it true.
1 John 5:7, 8
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
Isaiah 48:15-17
15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. 16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me. 17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Deuteronomy 6:4
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
At N.L.M., we believe that our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, was, is, and always has been God! Jesus was the “Word of God” that manifested in human flesh and dwelt amongst men. He is the Son of God: The only begotten of the Father: DNA tested (The Seed) of the Holy Ghost; thus, He is a co-equal in divinity with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
John 1:1, 2; 14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Luke 1:30, 31, 34, 35
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Colossians 2:9
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
John 8:58
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
At N.L.M. we believe, that because of the fall of Adam in the “Garden of Eden”, all men that proceedeth from the bloodline of Adam (all of us) have a fallen sinful nature. This nature causes all men to want their own way, and to rebel against God. For this reason it has caused a separation and divide from God; for He is holy. For this reason God has a plan in place, to redeem man and forgive their sins. In doing so, giving those who receive His sacrifice, a new nature. And (as Jesus was) we are also born of the Spirit or are (as Jesus called it) being “Born again.”
Rom 3:10-12
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:23-25
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Rom 5:12-15; 17-19
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
We, at N.L.M. believe in the divine work/ministry of the Holy Spirit!

The Work of Regeneration (or being re-gened) 2 Cor. 5:17 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
John 3:3; 5-7
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

The Work of Sanctification The lifelong process of the Holy Spirit, of revealing the unclean and unholy aspects of our lives: convicting us of these things, and then as we acknowledge our faults, and surrender to the will of God, the Spirit of God releases “grace”. Grace is the enabling power of God to assist us in being an overcomer. As this process of sanctification continues over the years, we are by design, being changed; conformed more daily, into the image and life of Christ.
1 Cor. 6:9-11
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Col 3:5
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
John 15:1-6
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Next Level Ministries believes in all 5-fold leadership gifts mentioned in Ephesian 4:11-12
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
The 5 leadership gifts are given by God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) for the perfecting (maturation) of the saints. To take baby Christians, to fully mature adults who can handle the meatier matters of God’s word. We also believe in other spititual gifts mentioned throughout the new testament, and believe non of the gifts mentioned have expired or been done away with.
1 Corinthians 12:4-12, 28
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
N.L.M. believes in the catching away of the church (rapture) according to 1 Thes. 4:13-18
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
We also believe in a post-tribulation rapture, according to Matt. 24:13, 29-31
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
N.L.M. believes that there is ONE (1) way, and one way only for a man to be saved from his sins and sinful nature: JESUS CHRIST!
He is the Way, He is the Life, He is the Truth and He is the Door. Every religion or other option, that does not recognize Jesus as the substitute for our sins, and the only way of salvation, and also proclaims Christ’s divinity as God, is false religion and based on a lie.
Acts 4:10-12
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 10:9
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
SOCIAL ISSUES
N.L.M. believes that marriage is a holy institution, ordained by God. It was and is God’s “divine blueprint” for the foundation of a functioning society, which is the family. Authentic marriage can only be a union of one man and one woman. Marriage is the spiritual act of taking two and making it one. The man has been called, ordained and equipped to be the “head” of wife and family. The woman/wife is to walk alongside of the man, being a support; “a helper that is suitable unto him/husband.”
Gen 2:23-24
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Proverbs 18:22
22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.
N.L.M. believes in the sanctity of human life: From the developing life in the womb to the senior years of our old age. Our God is a God of life!
We strongly stand against and oppose all abortion/Euthanasia/genocide
John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Deut. 30:19
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
N.L.M. believes that all forms of homosexuality, transgenderism, pedophilia, and sexual perversions are sin. Although we have great empathy for those controlled by those sexual vices and strongholds, we must call them what God calls them, “abominations.” People who practice and self-proclaim by these lifestyles are being manipulated by demonic suggestion and power. Unless these are convicted of their sin, repent to God, and turn away from their behaviors, they will be eternally lost.
Lev 20:13
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
1 Cor. 6:9-10
