Meet the Pastors

Pastors Troy and Dianne (Dee) Towns are the founding pastors of Next Level Ministries, a home-based church in Montgomery, Alabama, established on May 30, 2020. Their ministry is rooted in prayer, worship, fellowship, and the power of God’s promises.

Troy and Dianne were originally married in October 1995. Though they experienced a season of separation and divorce in September 2007, God faithfully restored their marriage, and they were reunited and remarried in May 2009. Their testimony of reconciliation continues to inspire many who witness the redemptive power of God’s grace. Pastors Troy and Dee have 4 adult children.

The Towns were ordained as ministers many years prior to their pastoral ordination in 2017. Pastor Dee furthered her biblical training by graduating from Fire and Grace Church’s Ministry School in 2021, one year after the launch of Next Level Ministries.

At Next Level Ministries, services begin with 30 minutes of prayer, followed by 30 minutes of worship. Praise and worship begins 9:30 each Saturday, and the live stream begins at 10 a.m. CST. The message is livestreamed across multiple platforms. Following the message, the congregation gathers in true ACTS model fellowship, breaking bread together over a meal personally catered by the pastors.

Pastors Troy and Dee are passionate about building a Christ-centered community, equipping believers for spiritual growth, and helping individuals experience the “next level” of God’s purpose for their lives.

Pastor Troy Towns

Pastor Troy is the founding pastor of Next Level Ministries in Montgomery, Alabama. Originally from Rochester, New York, he experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ after a life marked by addiction, brokenness, and immorality. When he surrendered his life to the Lord and was born again, everything changed. Through repentance, healing, and a deep hunger for the Word, he grew into a faithful student and disciple of Christ.

Over the years, Pastor Troy devoted himself to studying Scripture, teaching Bible studies, leading discipleship classes, and helping others walk in truth. His commitment and maturity in the Lord led to his ordination first as a minister and later as a pastor. Today he flows strongly in an apostolic anointing, equipping believers to grow, mature, and walk boldly in their God-given calling.

Pastor Troy Towns is a man passionate for the presence of God—uncompromising in truth, unafraid to deal with hard topics, and unwavering in his stand on core biblical beliefs. Pastor Troy very strongly believes that there should be a strong correlation with Body of Christ and earthly government. He teaches the church to be intricately involved in choosing Christian leaders, as this will enhance our nation by safeguarding its freedoms.

Pastor Troy along with his wife, (Pastor Dee) shepherd a small but growing home-based congregation, while also reaching people across the U.S. and throughout the earth. God has used their online ministry to touch many lives. Pastor Troy is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who longs to see lives transformed by Jesus—just as his own life was forever changed.

Pastor Dee Towns

Pastor Dee was born and raised in the city streets of Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 11, she moved with her family to Mesa, Arizona, after her father sought a better life, stronger educational opportunities, and a fresh start for the family. That decision opened the door to a new season of growth, resilience, and purpose.

In June of 1987, Dee joined the U.S. Air Force, where she began a career in medicine that would span more than three decades. She specialized in cardiopulmonary studies and later in cardiac ultrasound, faithfully serving both military and governmental communities. From July 2000 until her retirement in April 2024, she dedicated herself to government service, bringing compassion, excellence, and discipline to every patient she cared for.

In May 2020, Dee and her husband stepped boldly into full-time ministry, co-pastoring a small but thriving home church congregation. Around this same time, she enrolled in Fire & Grace School of Ministry, completing the program and graduating in 2021. Her pastoral calling deepened as she learned, served, and leaned fully into God’s voice.

Pastor Dee is the author of two deeply personal books that chronicle her faith journey and the miraculous restoration of her marriage—testimonies that continue to inspire others to believe God for healing, renewal, and the impossible. She also leads **Armed and Virtuous**, a women’s ministry devoted to equipping women with strength, confidence, and spiritual boldness through the truth of God’s Word.

As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Pastor Dee’s life reflects her commitment to family, ministry, and the unwavering grace of God. Whether shepherding her congregation, teaching women, or sharing her testimony, she walks out her calling with courage, authenticity, and a heart fully surrendered to Jesus Christ.
